Cherries dunks sneaker design is a play on pop culture and if you’re familiar with 19th Century art then you would recognize this as a print straight from the 19th Century French Designer Paule Marrot. Nike is redesigning one of their most used models, the Nike Dunk, to better serve the female Nike consumers. Called, the Nike cherries dunks, it’s aesthetically unchanged from the original Dunk but has been redesigned by a team of female designers at Nike to create a better fitting Dunk for her. A number of Skinny Dunks will be available for the ladies next Spring and Summer 2009. To play with pop culture, the above two versions uses a cherry print from the iconic 19th Century French Designer Paule Marrot.
